Arsenal: Fans unhappy after club are linked with Paris Saint-Germain’s Layvin Kurzawa - Arsenal

Arsenal fans have been displaying their displeasure after the club were linked with a move for Paris Saint Germain defender Layvin Kurzawa.

According to Mohamed Bouhafsi of RMC Sport, the Gunners are interested in signing the PSG full-back on a free transfer in the summer. However, the French journalist also added that if the north London outfit need the player sooner, then they will make an offer to the Ligue 1 champions towards the end of the current window.

One fan made his feelings on Kurzawa’s ability clear.

Arsenal are suffering something of an injury crisis in the left-back position with both Sead Kolasinac and Kieran Tierney currently sidelined with fitness issues (via Arsenal). This has seen youngster Bukayo Saka act as an auxiliary option on the left side of defence with the 18-year-old having played there for five games (via Transfermarkt).

In comparison to both Kolasinac and Tierney, Kurzawa has committed more fouls per game than the defensive duo (via WhoScored). Fans aren’t too happy after the club were linked with a move for the player as they took to Twitter to react. Here is a selection of tweets from the Emirates Stadium faithful, as one supporter felt it was a case of Stephan Lichtsteiner all over again:

Arsenal fans, would you take Kurzawa as an emergency left-back this window? Let us know your thoughts!
