Arsenal: Fans want Sam Allardyce after his claims about improving the defence

Arsenal fans have been left asking for Sam Allardyce after he made a claim about him managing the side’s defence, with one fan even assuring his fellow supporters Big Sam would be better than Mikel Arteta.
Is Mikel Arteta a worth risk taking for Arsenal?
Yes

No

The former England manager claimed that he would improve the side’s defensive performances as shown by his time at former clubs Newcastle United, Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers, West Ham United, Crystal Palace and Everton (via talkSPORT).
Allardyce has been free to manage any club after he left Everton at the end of the 2017/2018 season when he took over from Ronald Koeman.
His defensive record in charge of the Merseysiders was far from ideal as his side conceded 32 goals in 26 games (via Transfermarkt).
He managed Crystal Palace before then, where he also had a horrible defensive record, conceding 34 goals in just 23 games.
Fans were left asking for Allardyce after his claims he would improve the north London side’s defence as they took to Twitter to react.
Here is a selection of tweets from the Emirates Stadium faithful:
A lot of fans will turn their nose up and this but it’s exactly what we need right now. We are the worst team in the league off the ball and let’s be honest, hardly playing attractive football going forward so can only improve if Sam came for the rest of the season

I’d take Big Sam until the end of the season @OscarBrownsword!!! People may turn their noses up!!! But the bloke can organise a defender and picks up absolute bargains!!!
