Arsenal have been working hard this summer to put together a side that can challenge for the Champions League spots.

Unai Emery has made five new signings to improve his squad as Arsenal look to finally challenge again.

With the five new signings, Arsenal seem primed and ready to start the season. The club have pretty much completed their transfer business and will now look to sell off some of the more expendable squad players.

According to Fanatik via Turkish Football, Besiktas have accepted a loan offer from Besiktas for David Ospina.

The Colombian goalkeeper has now become the third-choice goalkeeper behind new signing Bern Leno and current first-choice 'keeper, Petr Cech.

The Breakdown

The departure of the former Nice goalkeeper will not come as a surprise to Arsenal fans. Ospina's role at Arsenal has been as a perennial second-choice goalkeeper and has never been good enough to progress as the first choice for the club.

While Arsenal have apparently accepted a temporary deal, Ospina is yet to finalise terms with the club.

Besiktas recently sold their former number one, Fabri to Fulham and therefore are keen to replace him.

From Arsenal's perspective, this is a move that makes sense. Although the club would've ideally liked to sell Ospina on a permanent deal, a loan offer at this late stage of the market might seem sensible.

With the Colombian's departure, Emiliano Martinez could become the third-choice for Emery this season.

Arsenal fans, would you be happy with this potential deal?
