Arsenal fans are wishing David Seaman a happy birthday as the former England international turns 56-years-old.
The retired ‘keeper enjoyed a very successful time at the club after he joined from fellow London side Queens Park Rangers for a mere £1.8m back in July 1990 (via Transfermarkt).
The Arsenal legend made more than 470 appearances for the club, conceding just 409 goals and keeping 192 clean sheets for the Gunners.
Seaman was hugely successful during his time with the club, winning 11 trophies in 13 seasons, including consecutive FA Cup triumphs in 2002 and 2003.
The Englishman is arguably most remembered by Arsenal fans towards the latter stages of his career for his stunning save against Sheffield United in the FA Cup semi-final in 2003, where he clawed the ball off the line following a header from Paul Peschisolido (via The Mirror).
Arsenal fans took to Twitter as they wished their legend a happy birthday as the ‘keeper turned 56-years-old.
