Arsenal: Fans worried as claims over Matteo Guendouzi’s future emerge

Matteo Guendouzi has enjoyed a sensational rise that has seen him go from being a Ligue 2 squad player to becoming a regular in central midfield for Arsenal. Indeed, his performances in his debut season saw him become the second-most valuable player under the age of 20, as he possessed a value of €70m (roughly £58.2m).
However, the latest claims from The Mirror have worried some supporters, who are starting to get jittery over the 20-year-old’s future at the club. According to the publication, the former Lorient player isn’t a first team starter and would raise funds should the team choose to cash in on him.
One fan called any reported sale ‘mad’.
They would be mad to let him leave

Guendouzi hasn’t enjoyed the best of times recently, having started just three of the last 11 games across all competitions (via Transfermarkt). It seems as though a mixture of that inactivity and the latest claims have had some fans biting their nails over whether the France youth international may leave the club soon.
Let’s take a look at some replies to the report:
Bruv you’re trolling with this

Why are we thinking of getting rid of him to raise funds, when we have got guys like Lacazette, Xhaka, Sokratis, Mustafi, Ozil, Holding, Chambers, Mkhi and Elneny??
