Arsenal forward finally set for summer departure with club reportedly keen

These are nervous times for the Arsenal fans propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern, who have been talking about their chances against Bayern Munich in the Champions League later on this week.

As you can well imagine, the Gunners in the bar aren’t overly optimistic about the clash with the German giants, who’ve proved to be a huge problem to Arsene Wenger’s attempts to guide his side past this stage of the continent’s elite competition over the last few years.

So, reports from the Daily Mail have at least provided them with something different to think about. They’ve revealed forward Yaya Sanogo is likely to leave the club at long last, having not made a senior appearance for any side in almost a year. Reading these reports, the Gunners in the Tavern are absolutely delighted.

The 24-year-old marksman has failed to convince in the slightest in the almost seven years since he joined from Auxerre and is reportedly attracting interest from back in Ligue 1, with Saint Etienne understood to be casting keen eyes over his situation.

How badly has Sanogo flopped? Let us know below…
