Arsenal given monumental boost in pursuit of Lacazette, personal terms agreed

Arsenal fans having breakfast here in the Football Transfer Tavern are enjoying their full English with a glass or two of champagne as some very promising news has reached us here in the bar.

According to reports from Le 10 Sport, the Gunners have agreed personal terms with Lyon striker, Alexandre Lacazette.

As per the report, no deal between the French side and Arsenal is in place yet but the North London side are preparing to return with an improved offer for the striker.

Wenger has listed the 25-year-old among his top targets across the summer and has already seen a bid in the region of £29m rejected.

The French international scored 23 goals in 44 appearances in all competitions helping his side to a second placed finish in Ligue 1, behind PSG.

The Ligue 1 outfit value the striker, who has been at the club his whole career, at £40m, however it is believed the Gooners will return with a bid of around £35m.
