Arsenal handed double injury boost ahead of crunch Bayern Munich trip

There hasn’t been much to shout about for the Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern of late, with many of our north London locals believing their season lies in tatters.

Pretty much out of the race in the Premier League title race, the Gunners face a tough task in the Champions League against Bayern Munich, who have some previous in knocking Arsene Wenger’s side out at this stage in the continent’s elite competition.

As difficult a tie as this may seem, reports from USA Today have given our north London locals some reason to smile, until kick-off least. They’ve revealed the Bavarian juggernauts will be without the likes of Arjen Robben AND Xabi Alonso for the game tomorrow night at the Allianz Arena.

While Carlo Ancelotti’s side boast some huge quality throughout their side, missing two veterans with such elite experience is at least a glimmer of light for the Gunners as they travel to Munich. If there’s any reason to smile for the Arsenal faithful in regards to matters surrounding the game.
