It’s fair to say the Arsenal fans propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern desperately need some cheering up after two consecutive defeats rocked their title hopes.
Our north London locals simply cannot believe the Gunners chucked 1-0 leads against both Everton and Manchester City away so easily, putting that down to a complete lack of leadership.
To make matters worse, it seems rumours surrounding star men Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez won’t go away at all, making these fearful times at the Emirates.
So, they need a win to say the least.
Well, good news has come following reports from the Daily Telegraph, much to their delight.
They claim top brass at the club will target a move for Borussia Dortmund superstar Marco Reus should they lose either of the aforementioned duo either in January or next summer.
The German international is one of the most exciting wingers in world football and would no doubt be a stellar signing for pretty much any side on the continent, though is somewhat injury prone.
Would Reus be a good replacement for either? Let us know below…
