Arsenal in understated £750,000 bid for Football League defender

Holding
By no means a bad player, just our resident North London locals feel somewhat let down they are still awaiting news on the so called bigger names.

The Gunners have been strongly linked with a move for the Trotters Player of the Year, though Premier League rivals Everton are also believed to retain an interest.

It was a miserable season at the Macron Stadium as the Lancashire outfit meekly succumbed to relegation to League One.

However, the defender has seen his stock sky rocket in recent months after a series of impressive performances in the backline.

He was left out of the side for the final game of the season as the troubled Trotters werereportedly not ready to risk potential injury that would scupper a move.

It is claimed that the North London giants have offered £750,000 for the promising starlet, though Bolton are believed to be holding out for a seven figure sum despite their struggles.

Is Holding ready to make the step up to the Premier League? Will be simply be loaned back out?
