Aside from a centre-back and sending Shkodran Mustafi as far away from north London as humanely possible, Arsenal are likely to be prioritising a winger this summer.

Unai Emery has done well in his debut season to get the best out of Arsenal’s limited winged options, with Alex Iwobi and Henrikh Mkhitaryan the club’s only natural wingers, but there is still a lot of room to be improved on.

The club are in need of a winger this summer, and with the recent news via football.london that reported target Ismaila Sarr has an asking place of £44 million from club Stade Rennais, it is likely that the Gunners are going have to pay big bucks if they are to get hold of the player who can fill the void in Emery’s side, but the 21-year-old, in particular, would be worth the money.

Arsenal fans are already aware of what Sarr is capable of after scoring against the Gunners in Rennais’ 3-1 win against the north London side in the Europa League, and the Senegalese international has been a long rumoured with a move to the Premier League side.

£44 million is a big fee for a player who is only 21 and has only played first-team football in France, but after an impressive season in which the youngster scored 13 goals and assisted 11 in all competitions, Sarr is more than worth the gamble this summer.

Arsenal are in need of wingers this summer, and although Sarr would be a substantial transfer, the youngster has what it takes to flourish in north London the Premier League as a whole.

Arsenal fans, would Sarr be a good signing? Let us know!
