Arsenal join arch rivals Spurs in race for lethal French marksman

While it still remains unclear whether or not Jamie Vardy will join Arsenal, the Gunners in the Transfer Tavern are nervous wrecks.

For now anyway, the search for a prolific striker at the Emirates Stadium goes on.

Well, he may not be the biggest name, though Fulham forward Moussa Dembele is reportedly of interest to Arsene Wenger ahead of next season.

According to ESPN, the Frenchman has joined the likes of arch rivals Spurs and Chelsea in his interest in luring the 16-goal forward away from Craven Cottage this summer.

He is out of contract with the Championship outfit, making him an attractive target for top flight teams considering his obvious potential.

Danny Welbeck has been ruled out with a serious injury for a number of months, while Olivier Giroud continues to divide opinion for both club and country, meaning Wenger is light on attacking options heading into what could prove to be his last campaign.

How far can Dembele go in the game?
