Arsenal keen to make move for impressive talent after scouting mission

There’s not been an awful lot to shout about for the Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern this season, with the club proving an entirely divisive environment right now.

With doubts about the futures of key figures such as Arsene Wenger and Alexis Sanchez, the north London locals propping up the bar are far from happy with how this season has gone for them.

So, with just so much to moan about right now, at least reports from Bleacher Report have given them a reason to smile. According to their report, the Gunners are keen on Sunderland ‘keeper Jordan Pickford as a potential option to replace Petr Cech in the long-term.

Despite the Black Cats’ struggles this season, the 23-year-old proved mightily impressive prior to his injury and the Emirates giants are understood to have scouted him in action.

Both Everton and Manchester City are thought to be keen too, though the report claims there’s a high chance Arsenal WILL make a move in the summer, much to the delight of the fans in the Tavern.
