Arsenal have had a better start than many predicted they would under former PSG manager Unai Emery and they have hope that continues for the remainder of the season.
Many believed and, rightly so, that a transitional season under Unai Emery would lead Arsenal to a Europa League finish once again but so far, Arsenal are showing potential of having the capabilities to assert themselves back into the top four fight.
Emery has brought a number of talented players with him to Arsenal and everything seems to be settling down well.
However, with one eye already on the January transfer window, Arsenal still need to ensure they bag themselves a top winger who could be darting up and down the Emirates for years to come – someone like Ismaila Sarr.
Sarr, (who is valued at £12.6 million on Transfermarkt) is a player that when he wanted to last season, had the potential of being a match-winner on his own for Stade Rennais.
Having spent last season managing PSG, it remains to be seen as to whether Unai Emery turns to anymore French league players to come and join the Gunners and seeing as Ismaila Sarr is one of few wingers with exceptional potential, a move would definitely be advisable for both parties.
Thus far, Sarr has found the back of the net on two occasions in five appearances and his electric pace has become an even bigger problem for Ligue 1 defenders.
The Senegalese international has shown raw ability that could attract Arsenal to his signature, seeing as strangely enough, they don’t have a frightening winger like Ismaila Sarr within their ranks. If they did, it’s scary to think just how many goals their frontline would score.
