Arsenal have now won seven games in a row and look to be getting back to the team they once were.
Unai Emery has got his players working hard and they look a team full of confidence right now, with the slightest possibility that they could make a move into the top four if their form continues.
With Arsenal though, they still aren’t a match to the Liverpool and Manchester City squads and would need a few more seasons yet to fully challenge for anything substantial yet.
If Aaron Ramsey is going to leave Arsenal and they can’t convince him otherwise, the Gunners must be smart in identifying Leicester’s James Maddison as an outstanding replacement.
James Maddison, who is valued at £19.8 million on Transfermarkt, has had a wonderful start to life in the Premier League and with Leicester, taking to life in the top tier like a duck to water.
His performances have been top-notch and it wouldn’t be surprising for anyone to see Maddison linked with a move away from the King Power Stadium ahead of a bigger move to a club like Arsenal.
Especially with growing speculation that Aaron Ramsey will be leaving the club, James Maddison is surely the ideal replacement for the Welshman.
With three goals and two assists thus far in the Premier League, Maddison has taken no time to make the leap up from the Championship to stealing the show in the top flight.
The young, exciting Englishman has great ability on the ball to glide past defenders as if they weren’t even there and playing as either an attacking midfielder or a box-to-box role, he would be a great signing for Arsenal should he continue to grow as a player.
