Arsenal have improved in the short space of time Unai Emery has been involved with the club and that leads fans to think positively ahead of the future.
Having won three of their five games thus far, Arsenal have been a lot more impressive than many had them down to be this season, due to them technically being in a transitional stage, having parted ways with Arsene Wenger after 22 years.
The Gunners remain a long way of the top of the Premier League even at this early stage but a way to plug the gulf in quality between Arsenal and the top of the league would be to invest more in the up and coming January transfer window.
A winger specifically is an area worth improving on and if they could buy someone of Ante Rebic’s quality to whip balls into Lacazette and Aubameyang, they could be even more successful going forward.
Rebic, (who is valued at £27 million on Transfermarkt) was on top form for Croatia during the World Cup and consequently received a lot of interest from around Europe. Staying in Germany though, Rebic will be hoping to surpass the nine goals he managed for Frankfurt last season.
Arsenal haven’t got an option quite like Ante Rebic either. The winger/striker hybrid is a versatile 24-year-old who loves to attack and get at players. With a powerful running style, Rebic has found a lot of success from the wing, cutting in and causing problems for the opposition.
Thinking about quality in squad depth as well, it certainly wouldn’t harm Arsenal to invest in a player of his quality, in fact it would turn their top four hopes into an even bigger possibility.
