Arsenal need World Cup hero Lozano on the wing

Arsenal are a team who look to have the potential again to challenge for the top four of the Premier League, early signs suggest.

Unai Emery was put in place as manager when Arsenal were a sinking ship under long-term manager Arsene Wenger but now the former PSG man is in the process of steadying the club and rebuilding in the hope of becoming trophy winners again soon.

The majority of their summer signings have begun life at Arsenal well but evidently after four games, it’s clear to see that the Gunners are missing a top winger to provide balls in for Aubameyang and Lacazette to dispatch.

In that case, with the January transfer window open in a few months, Arsenal should turn to Mexico and PSV winger Hirving Lozano – who is valued at £27 million on Transfermarkt.

Lozano (who was linked with the Gunners back in , as many will recollect, was one of the surprise players to endure a great World Cup, with his best moment coming when scoring the winning goal to beat Germany.

Since then and back in Holland, the 23-year-old has carried on his exceptional form as he’s gone onto score four goals and provide two assists in seven appearances.

With electric pace and tricky feet, instantly he would improve upon Iwobi and Mkhitaryan, who are no match to the Mexican in those specific attributes. Lozano also has age on his side and the fact that he didn’t crumble on the biggest stage this summer is another positive behind bringing him to the Emirates in January.

In attack Arsenal look a threat every time they go forwards and with the added qualities of Hirving Lozano, a return to the top four may no longer be a long-shot.
