Arsenal not willing to budge on powerful £35m Spurs target

If ever 90 minutes of football changed so much, it is in the curious case of Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko.

The Frenchman endured a thoroughly miserable season with the Magpies amid their relegation from the Premier League and it seemed as if such a poor year in the North East had scuppered his chances of getting a move away.

However, his stunning performance in the EURO 2016 final has led the Toon Army to slap a £35m valuation on the 26-year old, with both Arsenal and Spurs linked with the midfield powerhouse.

Still, according to the Times, the Gunners are unwilling to enter a bidding war for the Les Blues winger and potential suitors are hoping Rafa Benitez and his side will accept a more reasonable £20m for the former Toulouse man.

Though the Tyneside giants suffered relegation last term, their Champions League winning manager has constantly insisted he is under no pressure to sell his prized assets this summer.

How much is Sissoko worth? Does he owe Newcastle another season?
