Arsenal readying imminent Lacazette bid after snub, over €40m

The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern tend not to enjoy this time of year, though rumours and reports have ramped up in recent weeks.

In typical Arsene Wenger fashion, the Gunners have reportedly seen a €35m bid snubbed by Ligue 1 giants Lyon for Alexandre Lacazette.

However, in perhaps a style not so readily associated with Le Prof, he is understood to be readying ANOTHER bid.

According to L’Equipe (via Sport Witness), the North London giants will not lick their wounds for too long and will table a stunning offer of over €40m for the 25-year old.

Having missed out on Jamie Vardy, the club are said to be plotting a major move for the Les Blues international as they bid for a marquee marksman.

While Les Gones are thought to be keen on keeping their talisman, especially after the departure of Samuel Umtiti to Barcelona, a substantial offer emanating out of the Emirates Stadium could tempt them.

Is Lacazette the right man to lead the line for Arsenal? Let us know below…
