Arsenal reportedly in talks with forward amid rival Premier League interest

With Arsene Wenger having already signed a new deal, brought in Sead Kolasinac and reportedly made a bid for Kylian Mbappe, it’s been a pretty big summer for the Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern.

Indeed, following their FA Cup win, the fires of optimism have once again been lit for the resident Gooners propping up the bar.

Still, reports from the London Evening Standard have had our north London locals fretting somewhat. They claim the Emirates giants are under pressure to tie up the future of promising youngster Chris Willock as interest around the player reportedly circles.

Arsenal are believed to be in discussions with the player’s representatives, though his deal is said to run out on June 30th, meaning he’d be allowed to leave as a free agent in just a few weeks.

Premier League rivals Manchester City are understood to be keen on the 19-year-old attacker – held in high regard amongst our local Gunners – while Celtic and Everton are also reportedly interested.

As you can imagine, the Arsenal fans frequenting the Tavern in their droves are eager to see his future secured as soon as humanly possible, believing he’ll have a big future in the game.
