Undoubtedly one of the most elite playmakers in European football, the World Cup winner is surely key to any hopes they harbour in regards to finally winning the Premier League again.
However, reports emanating out Germany have rocked the North London locals propping up the bar.
According to Bild (via the Irish Independent), the 27-year old is open to the idea of a return to former club Real Madrid.
He left the Spanish capital in 2013 and became the Gunners’ record signing, though has been linked with a blockbuster return after his season last time out.
Unable to agree a new contract at the Emirates thus far, he reportedly feels as if he has unfinished business with Los Blancos and is not willing to simply tread water with Arsenal.
