Arsene Wenger is under the biggest amount of pressure in years, here’s why…

Our Arsenal fans here in the Transfer Tavern are hoping to bring home the trophy on Sunday, as they bid to win the League Cup for the first time under Arsene Wenger.

At Wembley on Sunday, our regulars are excited to see the first final of the season take place in the Carabao Cup. Arsenal are a team teetering on the edge right now considering their fading hopes of a top-four finish and the fact they’re out of the FA Cup. Although, they are still in the Europa League and a win on Sunday could see Wenger bring home the double that United completed last season.

Certainly, a win against Man City will drive momentum into the latter stages of the season, and Wenger could use the Jose Mourinho template from last year and put all his eggs in the Europa League basket.
