Arsenal have found the transition between Arsene Wenger and Unai Emery hard so far but with the season being so long, they have time to figure out and gel together to complete a successful season.
The Gunners strengthened their side over the summer with a number of exciting signings which could lead fans to believe that top four hopes might not be as far a reach as first thought.
Unai Emery has been a successful manager and given the right tools to do that at Arsenal, there is no doubt he is the right manager for the club.
Emery brought in a mixture of youth and experience over the summer and one of his signings – Stephan Lichtsteiner – could be in-line to overtake Hector Bellerin in the starting line-up.
The Swiss international is a seasoned footballer and even at the age of 34-years-old, has a lot to offer a team like Arsenal. Defensively he has been brilliant throughout his career and his knowledge and understanding for the game is incredible.
Hector Bellerin will surely be able to learn from Lichtsteiner and make himself a better player by doing so. The Spaniard has faced criticism ever since he made the leap up from the youth team about his suspect defending.
There is no doubt that Bellerin is an immense threat going forward considering his electric pace but defending is a weak spot for the right-back and something that Stephan Lichtsteiner would improve upon massively if brought into the team.
Lichtsteiner, (who is valued at £1.3 million on Transfermarkt) has made over 100 appearances for his country, partly being captain and has maintained his very best form even at this late stage in his career.
Not only would be a good replacement for Bellerin in the starting line-up but he can also coach the Spaniard to be a better player.
