For the Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern, it’s been horrible to read reports from the Daily Telegraph that the club could consider selling Mesut Ozil next summer.
The German playmaker is one of the elite talents in north London and remains a key aspect to any hopes they may have in winning a first Premier League title in over a decade.
Still, it appears the Gunners will not be held to ransom over his reported contract demands for a player approaching 30 years of age.
While life without the former Real Madrid man may appear to be almost unthinkable right now, perhaps Arsenal are right not be bowing to such demands.
