Arsenal's only remaining chance of Champions League football next season is through winning the Europa League in a few weeks' time.

Up against Chelsea, it is sure to be a tightly contested affair and one the Gunners will have to work very hard in to win.

Unai Emery's debut season will ultimately be decided on whether he can deliver silverware and with a decorated history of winning the competition, Arsenal will feel they're in good hands.

However, as soon as the final is over, all attention must turn to the summer transfer window and signing new players.

Whilst Arsenal are sure to spend to some extent, giving another chance to Calum Chambers would be a good move at first.

Chambers, (who is valued at £12.6 million on Transfermarkt) was one of few Fulham players this season to preserve some sort-of reputation, following their immediate relegation back down to the Championship.

And although some fans would still have reservations about turning to a defender who has just experienced relegation, Arsenal have massive defensive problems of their own to think about first.

With injuries again being a big problem, the Gunners have in some games had to create an entirely new back-line, which is never a good thing for a side chasing Champions League football.

Seeing as though Chambers is still only 24 years of age and can be used as a centre-back, right-back and defensive-midfielder, Arsenal instead of selling him could use the Englishman for cover at the very least.

Prices in English football are currently higher than ever so it could make things a lot easier for Stan Kroenke, instead spending more on other positions of concern.
