Unai Emery has come into Arsenal and has already shaken things up. New signings and some high profile exits, the Gunners support are likely to be relieved that something of a revolution looks to be taking place in North London
Things had certainly gone stale at the Emirates under Arsene Wenger. His proud record of top-four finishes was no longer, and his legacy took something of a hit with a large section of supporters demanding the Frenchman leave.
A new era was badly needed, and with Spaniard Emery coming in, it looks to be well underway. However, it could be argued the Spaniard is not going far enough. Players such as Aaron Ramsey have been offered new contracts, when arguably injury prone players should have been moved on as part of the new era. Jack Wilshere is the latest Arsenal player to exit the Emirates, having signed at the London Stadium for West Ham United. These players who have frustrated and not delivered for the club leaving can only be good news.
Emery has brought in some serious talent to the club. He has brought in experience such as Stephan Lichsteiner and Sokratis Papastathopoulos, who are ready to come and make an immediate impact at the Emirates.
