Arsenal fans gathered in the Transfer Tavern are set for a busy time this summer.

Unai Emery is reshaping his new look at Arsenal as the Spaniard prepares to guide the Gunners back to the top four. Stephan Lichtsteiner and Bernd Leno have already joined the club and there could be a few more to follow. One name that has been linked with the club is Sevilla man and former Stoke midfielder, Steven Nzonzi.

The Breakdown

The French midfielder is seemingly on his way out of the Spanish club. According to Spanish news outlet, EFE, N'Zonzi is now one step closer to a move away. Apparently, N'Zonzi has told the club that he wants to leave following the end of the World Cup.

The former Blackburn midfielder had been linked with a move to Arsenal in January and it seems Unai Emery could be interested in bringing him to the Emirates.

N'Zonzi is under contract until 2020 and has a £35 million release clause. While it remains to be seen if Arsenal will try to bring in the tall midfielder, the club desperately needs to add some depth in midfield.

Granit Xhaka recently signed a new long-term contract at the club but the Swiss international still hasn't won over the Arsenal faithful. He's not very mobile, he's very one-footed and can't pick a pass in the final third. Moreover, defensively, he seems to always be caught out. Bringing in N'Zonzi would give Arsenal a midfielder that would protect against the counter and also be able to use the ball much quicker - unlike Xhaka.

It's a controversial one but do you think N'Zonzi should come in for Xhaka Arsenal fans?
