The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern have been stewing over the course of the international break.
With the Gunners heading into it on the back of two losses, our north London locals cannot quite believe just how poor they fared against Stoke City and Liverpool, with so many problems still painfully evident.
So, it’s fair to say they need some cheering up.
Well, Santi Cazorla – popular as ever – has been trying his best to do exactly that. Currently out injured, the Spaniard took to his Instagram account to update fans about his progress in training.
Having not played in 10 months, the 32-year-old has been left out of the club’s 25-man Premier League squad for the first half of the campaign, though injury data analysts Ben Dinnery has shed some light on the matter.

Taking to Twitter, he revealed the World Cup winner is targeting a return to action in 2018, much to the delight of our resident Gooners.
Cazorla will be huge for Arsenal if he can get back to his best. Having never really relied on pace, the Spaniard can help dictate play from deeper positions, allowing the likes of Granit Xhaka and Aaron Ramsey more freedom.
A popular figure across all sets of supporters, it’ll be great to see him back.
