Seeing their pretty much torn apart for swathes of the 4-3 loss at home to Liverpool, the Gunners propping up the bar have been praying for Arsene Wenger to address the long running issue in the central striking berth.
Despite huge links with the likes of Alexandre Lacazette, Wenger remains dormant on that front.
The misery amongst the North London locals have been further compounded by reports from journalist Emanuele Giulianelli.
He claims that Le Prof has made no further moves on the striker front, preferring to wait until towards the end of the window to make another foray into the market.

While the club reportedly remain keen on adding another star, frustration amongst the Emirates faithful could further grow as he would prefer to keep waiting.
Olivier Giroud is expected soon after being handed an extended break following his Euro 2016 exploits, with Alexis Sanchez currently deputising.
