Arsenal: Fans slam Cedric Soares signing as he takes over club’s Instagram story
Loads of Arsenal fans have slammed the signing of Cedric Soares as he took over the north London club’s official Instagram story to show supporters what life is like in self-isolation for him.
Footage from the full-back was relayed on the club’s official Twitter account, which prompted some negative responses from Gooners.
Cedric joined on loan from Southampton on Deadline Day in the January transfer window but has yet to play a game for the Gunners. He was perhaps brought in to provide cover for Hector Bellerin and Ainsley Maitland-Niles at right-back but certain restrictions, including the season being postponed due to the pandemic outbreak, has meant that he is yet to make an appearance.
The Portuguese international has 33 caps for his country and has also made 120 Premier League appearances over the course of five seasons for Southampton, according to Transfermarkt.
