Arsenal: Fans elated after reports about Arsene Wenger potentially returning to the club emerge

Arsene Wenger, a legend of Arsenal and a man who provided fans with some great times, has rarely made an appearance in north London, leaving people wondering as to when they’ll see the 70-year-old back at the club.
Still, recent reports have excited the supporters after it emerged that the hierarchy at the Emirates Stadium wants to bring the Frenchman back to the club (via The Mirror). The publication are claiming that figures at the club are trying to make ‘inroads’ to talk him into it.
Since leaving the Gunners, the former AS Monaco coach has taken up a role with FIFA, acting as their chief of global football development in the women’s and men’s game (via The Times).
