Italian table-toppers Juventus are interested in bringing Tottenham fan favourite Aaron Lennon to Turin in a player-plus-cash-deal. Itasport are reporting that the Turin side are willing to pay £8 million and throw in Serbian winger Milos Krasic for the 24-year-old services’.
The 27-year-old Serb has yet to fully convince new coach Antonio Conte, and has only started four times for the Old Lady this campaign. The Serbian winger is finding life on the bench difficult and could force a move this forthcoming January transfer window if his situation doesn’t change.
Having previously been linked with English giants Chelsea and Manchester City, Juventus general director Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta may weigh up and assess Krasic’s situation. Aaron Lennon is currently valued at £20 million by Spurs and Marotta believes Krasic and £8 million could seal the deal.
Earlier this week, Krasic’s agent Dejan Joksimovic told Il Corriere dello Sport: “[Juventus coach Antonio] Conte does not want him. Milos has to play and there are many clubs that are interested…Chelsea and Manchester City both submitted bids in the summer, but these were rejected by Juventus. But the situation is evolving and we will see what happens with [Juventus sporting director Giuseppe] Marotta in winter”
