Matteo Guendouzi’s Chelsea performance has fans going mad

It looks like Arsenal have really found a gem in this transfer window in the form of 19-year-old Matteo Guendouzi. The Frenchman signed for Arsenal from Lorient and in his pre-season, he’s looked like a world beater. Last night he helped The Gunners beat Chelsea on penalties after a 1-1 draw and plenty of Arsenal fans have made him their man of the match.
We'd like you to think back to last night's game and fill in the blanks…

Guendouzi was one of six Arsenal players to score a penalty in the 6-5 shootout win after Alexandre Lacazette’s 93rd-minute strike cancelled out Antonio Rudiger’s 5th-minute header. The game will have provided Unai Emery with a great opportunity to assess his squad ahead of the new Premier League season and with Guendouzi seriously impressing in pre-season, a lot of fans are desperate to see him in the first-team come next Sunday.
Unfortunately, it’s unlikely that Guendouzi will be thrown into the first team. The fans will be expecting to see a midfield three of Granit Xhaka, Aaron Ramsey and Lucas Torreira, with their young Frenchman on the bench if needed to come on and dictate the tempo. The fans will get to see Guendouzi this season, even if it’s just in the domestic cups, as the youngster has too much talent to see him playing in the age groups for the club.
