Mohamed Elneny and Carl Jenkinson should never play for Arsenal again

Arsenal will be desperate to secure a top four spot in the current campaign after missing out for the past two seasons.

The Gunners haven’t really hit the heights under Unai Emery so far this season but there’s still a long way to go in the current campaign. Indeed, the London club managed to secure victories against Cardiff City and West Ham United, but they’ll have to improve massively if they want to play their football in the Champions League.

However, the Arsenal boss will need to think about the futures of a couple of his players as he can’t afford to be carrying any deadweight after a rather busy summer transfer window.

With that in mind, here’s a look at TWO men that should never feature for Arsenal again…

Mohamed Elneny

The Egyptian is slowly slipping down the pecking order at the Emirates due to summer transfer window business and his recent performances.

Indeed, the central midfielder is yet to feature for the Gunners in the current campaign, despite starting every match on the substitutes’ bench.

Therefore, it would come as no surprise if Unai Emery freezes him out until the January transfer window with far better options currently at his disposal.

Carl Jenkinson

Carl Jenkinson has been a huge disappointment during his time at the Emirates, with loan moves to West Ham United and Birmingham City in recent years.

And, it doesn’t look as if he’ll feature for the Gunners in the current campaign having failed to make it into any of their matchday squads, which could mean that he’s shipped out permanently during the January transfer window.
