Multiple league-winning coach wants Arsenal job

Our Arsenal fans here in the Transfer Tavern have received a glimpse of the possible future today with The Sun reporting that Max Allegri would like the Gunners job after Arsene Wenger.

The current Gunners boss has been in charge for two decades now and many are wondering just how long he wants to go on for with his contract up at the end of the season.

Some here by the bar feel that he may decide to bow out at the end of this campaign, too, and so naturally they are intrigued to see who could come in next.

They want to make sure Arsenal avoid following Manchester United’s mistakes after the departure of a long-term manager, too, and if Allegri was to come in, they’d surely be doing just that.

The Italian manager is currently in charge of Juventus where he has picked up back-to-back Serie A titles in the past two years and is looking good to add a third this season.

That kind of return would certainly be welcome at Arsenal and our landlord thinks Allegri should certainly be on the short-list for the job.
