While the Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern were treated to a closing day victory over Everton, the Gooners propping up the bar are in no mood to celebrate.
Liverpool’s victory condemned Arsene Wenger’s side to a fifth-placed finish and no Champions League football next season. Though they still have an FA Cup final to play for, it’s been far from a vintage year at the Emirates.
Rather predictably then, Piers Morgan has taken to Twitter in order to vent his frustration. One of the most staunch supporters of the #WengerOut brigade, Morgan has little time for the Frenchman’s end of season words.
Oh shut up, Wenger.
I've loved this club for 26 years longer than you, as have many fans.
You've failed for 13yrs, it's over. https://t.co/k5HGIjvwKU

Instead, he reacted with a damning verdict of Wenger’s last 13 years in charge of his beloved Arsenal and claimed his reign should be over.
Whether or not Wenger sticks around next season, Morgan and the Arsenal faithful will have no Champions League football to watch next season.
Going off their recent performances, that might not be a bad thing…
