Potential consequences: Adrien Rabiot’s move to Arsenal

Arsenal have surprised everyone by just how well they have performed this season, leading many to believe that their top four aspirations are well and truly possible.

Unai Emery is a man on a mission as he aims to get his team back to the top of their game in the Premier League, having made enormous inroads into doing so this season.

Arsenal’s players have all pulled together to produce an amazing run of form, form that hasn’t gone unnoticed by the rest of the league.

Despite how good they’ve already been, RMC via The Sun are reporting that along with others, Arsenal are lining up a blockbuster move for PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

In what would be considered a quality replacement for Aaron Ramsey, the French midfielder could add a huge element of quality to the club and be the talisman behind guiding them to an even more successful season.

What could the potential consequences of this move be for the Gunners…

Rabiot is potentially a big improvement on Aaron Ramsey

With both being regarded as contract rebels, it seems that Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot could be at new clubs sooner rather than later.

The 23-year-old has played in 18 games already this season as it’s remained clear to him that PSG want him to stay.

But with Arsenal seemingly becoming more and more interested, a new challenge under his former boss maybe appealing and could work out to be better for Arsenal, than if Aaron Ramsey stayed.

Arsenal’s top four dreams materialise

Arsenal are on the cusp of the top four right now but with over half the season to go, they need to keep up the good form and hope others drop points.

Their fight would be made a lot easier with Adrien Rabiot in midfield, who is a proven, quality player at this stage in his career.
