According to Ian McGarry on the Transfer Window Podcast and relayed by Utd Report on Twitter, Juventus are ready to offer Aaron Ramsey to Manchester United as a potential makeweight in a move to bring Paul Pogba back to Turin.

The latter has barely featured this season due to a series of injuries and has been linked with a move to Real Madrid as a result, though is understood to be a target for the Italian champions. Ramsey, meanwhile, has failed to wholly convince since joining the Old Lady from Arsenal over the course of the summer and, as per the Athletic, has been played out of position by Maurizio Sarri.

While the Welshman's time in Italy may have been somewhat difficult (he's played in just 15 Serie A games) scoring three goals, there's little doubt he has proven himself at Premier League level. Indeed, he scored 65 goals from midfield and laid on the same number of assists in 371 games as an Arsenal player in England's elite competition and was described as 'the one that got away' by Sir Alex Ferguson, with the Scot having tried to sign him while still a Cardiff player as a youngster.
