The result that German side Hoffenheim got over the weekend compared to the one Arsenal picked up was different in so many ways. But the most important one is called Reiss Nelson.

Committed to the North London club for the future, Nelson has been lighting up the Bundesliga in his loan-spell at Hoffenheim and Saturday afternoon saw him continue his magnificent run by scoring the winning goal over Augsburg. Six goals and one assist so far this season, as well as some valuable minutes in the Champions League have given the 18-year-old the ideal opportunity to gain as much experience before heading back to the Gunners next season.

But on the contrary, Unai Emery's men experienced a very disappointing and worrying result against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday. The newly promoted club has been causing trouble for the bigger clubs in the Premier League but none of them have had it as bad as Arsenal did on Armistice Day.

Arsenal were lucky to walk away with a point after Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored an equalising goal four minutes from time for a 1-1 draw. But what was more worrying to witness from an Arsenal perspective was their lack of creativeness that saw them get their first shot on target in the 60th minute only.

Wingers Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alex Iwobi found it extremely difficult to operate in space or create clear chances for themselves and striker Alexandre Lacazette. A week ago those three players were giving Liverpool a hard time by having loads of room to run with but the moment Wolves sat back with a really good organised defence, Arsenal were forced into errors or passing the ball backwards.

The game was a clear indication to Emery that he could do with someone like Nelson. Compared with Aubameyang and Iwobi's struggle on Sunday, Nelson's skill-set and brilliant feet might have seen Arsenal create more chances should he have been on the pitch against Wolves.

Emery might be forced to play Aubameyang from the bench again when the international break is over as it was clear on Sunday that he becomes limited on the wing if pressured defence is put on him.

Nelson though could be more able to manage a way out if he finds himself in such a position and should give Emery a more outright winger than Aubameyang when he returns.
