While Chelsea-Arsenal isn’t the biggest derby in the nation’s capital, it is a fierce clash that seemingly grows ever bitter with every meeting.
Both the Gunners and the Blues in the Transfer Tavern are entrenched in raucous debate over the notion of Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata making a move to the Big Smoke, with the Spaniard’s name becoming one of the most frequent rumours in the proverbial mill.
With both sides thought to be interested, it’s good news for the North London locals this evening.
One of the more eagle eyed punters has spotted reports from the Daily Mirror, claiming the 23-year old would prefer a move to the Emirates Stadium, over the notion of linking up with Antonio Conte in West London.
He is thought to have made his decision based on the fact that Arsene Wenger and his men will be performing in the Champions League next term, something the incoming Italian simply cannot offer in his maiden campaign.
Is Morata perfect for Arsenal? Could he win them the league?
