Rivals Arsenal and Chelsea remain keen on lethal Champions League winner

It’s not often you find the Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern poking fun at their Chelsea counterparts, though the Gunners’ recent win over the Blues has not been soon forgotten. 

The growing ever bitter rivalry shows little sign of sweetening,  so reports emanating from Spain have only stoked the fires further.

According to Don Balonthe London pair are STILL keen on Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata and will make a bid for him should he opt to leave the Spanish capital.

The 23-year-old only returned to Los Blancos over the course of the summer after leaving Juventus, though could find playing time limited with the Champions League winners.

While the La Roja ace is understood to accept his position is not nailed on under Zinedine Zidane, they also claim the doors for a move to either Stamford Bridge or the Emirates remain open.

With Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale also at the club, Morata faces a huge fight for a starting berth.
