Watch: 31-year-old reveals ambitious Arsenal dream

Though Arsenal have enjoyed a strong start to the season, not even the most ardent of Gunners in the Transfer Tavern believe they can match the European elite.

With Arsene Wenger’s side seemingly hitting the second-round ceiling in the Champions League on a yearly basis, even the ever-optimistic Santi Cazorla looks a tad too ambitious.

Speaking to Bleacher Report, the 31-year-old has revealed winning the continent’s elite competition remains one of his major aims in the latter part of his career.

The north London giants have never won the trophy in their history, most recently being beaten by Barcelona in 2006’s Paris final.

So, the smiley Spaniard’s wish may never come true while playing in the red of the Premier League giants.

Arsenal currently sit atop of Group A, level on points with PSG and ahead of both Basel and Bulgarian champions Ludogorets after an unbeaten start to their European campaign.

Will Arsenal ever win the Champions League under Arsene Wenger? Let us know below…
