Serie A giants looking to profit as Arsenal’s title tilt begins to falter

It’s that time of year again for Arsenal fans it seems here in the Transfer Tavern with them bemused at both their league form and the latest report from Italian newspaper Tuttosport (via The Telegraph) that Juventus want Alexis Sanchez.

The Gunners here by the bar have had all the festive cheer sapped out of them over the last week after losing twice in the space of a few days in very similar fashion.

First, they went 1-0 up away at Everton before succumbing to a 2-1 defeat and then they did exactly the same at Manchester City at the weekend causing great despair amongst their fan-base.

They must be thinking, then, that things cannot get much worse but according to the latest report they certainly could with the Turin side’s reported interest.

The Chilean has played in Serie A before with Udinese and our landlord reckons that with Juve’s far more frequent ability to win titles than Arsenal the attacker could be very interested in such a move.

Tense times for our Gunners fans, then, and it remains to be seen exactly what happens with the player’s future.

How will it pan out, Arsenal fans? Let us know below!
