Gunners fans here in the bar at The Football Transfer Tavern are wondering whether or not Arsene Wenger’s decision to let this speedy winger go was in fact the right one.
The Arsenal punters are watching in awe as their former man, Andrey Arshavin, has rendered an opposition defence useless in the Kazakhstan Premier League, with some delightful skill and a sumptuous finish.

The Russian international joined the Gunners in 2009 and went on to score 43 goals in 169 appearances, including the famous four goals against Liverpool.
After leaving the Emirates the winger returned to his boyhood club, Zenit St Petersburg before joining Krasnodar and then making the move to Kairat in Kazakhstan this year.
The 35-year-old has scored seven goals in 21 appearances in the Kazakhstan Premier League since joining in March, leaving the Gooners here in the bar wondering what may have been.
