It’s a new era for Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern and it looks as though it could be a busy summer for the club.

With three new faces joining the club, the Emery revolution is very much underway at the Emirates. A centreback, goalkeeper and right back have all been brought into the club and it seems that Emery is also looking to add a winger to the ranks. The winger rumoured to be top of Emry's list is Real Madrid's Lucas Vazquez.

The Breakdown

Spanish news outlet, OKDIARIO via the Metro are reporting that Emery is a huge fan of Vazquez and is very keen to sign him for Arsenal. The Spaniard has found it hard to break into Madrid's first-team but still managed to register four goals and seven assists in 16 starts for the La Liga outfit. With that in mind, it is thought the winger wants to seek a move away from the club in order to establish himself as a first-team regular.

Although some may argue that Arsenal have Alex Iwobi and Lucas Perez on the wing already, Vazquez would be a definite upgrade on the pair. The 27-year-old has been at Real Madrid since the age of 16 and has won three Champions League titles during his career at the Bernabeu.

Vazquez is considered an underrated player at Real Madrid and Arsenal are reportedly ready to offer him a salary that would triple his current Madrid deal. While it may be tough for Emery to lure Vazquez away from Madrid as he still has three years left on his current deal, he may just be a perfect signing for the Gunners.
