Signing Bernardeschi would almost guarantee top four for Arsenal

Arsenal have made a good start to the campaign under new manager Unai Emery and their top four aspirations may not be so farfetched after all.

The Gunners have looked a much more threatening side to the Arsenal team belonging to Arsene Wenger last season and that is largely due to the man-management of Unai Emery, a manager who seems ripe to be a successful successor to the man who lasted 22 years with the Gunners.

Things aren’t yet perfect at Arsenal and only time will improve that but as well as adjusting to the Premier League, Unai Emery needs to accommodate more room for a top winger to be able to join his squad – someone like Juventus’ Federico Bernardeschi.

Bernardeschi, (who is valued at £36 million on Transfermarkt) has been ever-present for Juventus since joining in the summer of 2017 but since the arrival of a certain Cristiano Ronaldo is sure to stir up the team, the Italian could find a role at Arsenal more beneficial for him.

After making three appearances so far this campaign, Federico Bernardeschi has scored 1 goal and provided a single assist as well.

With great skill, pace, awareness and versatility, Bernardeschi has the tools to become a legendary winger for Arsenal. Last season the 24-year-old scored a total of five goals and provided seven assists for his team-mates as well but with the arrival of Ronaldo, many will have to play second best to one of the greatest players of all time, including Bernardeschi.

The Italian is more than good enough to be a starter and at Arsenal with Aubameyang and Lacazette to supply, Unai Emery could lead Arsenal straight back into the top four.
