Arsenal youngster Aaron Ramsey says that he is ready to return to action with the Gunner’s and claims that he is better than ever, following spells in the Championship with Nottingham Forest and Cardiff City.
Following a horrific tackle from Stoke’s Ryan Shawcross a year ago, Ramsey was left with a broken leg which could have seen the end of his career. But the 20 year old Welshman has rehabilitated well, and has even started scoring again! His first goal after injury came onTuesday night for Cardiff, against Leicester City, as Ramsey helped the Bluebirds chase their promotion dream. You can see the goal below.
”I wanted to score before I left and I’m glad it came at Cardiff. We needed the win and it has put us back in a good position.’
‘I’m getting back to my best form. This is what these games have been for. I’m back in the swing of things now and I have got better and stronger with every game. Hopefully that can continue now and I can get back to where I was and be even better as quickly as I possibly can.’
Arsenal fans, and indeed fans of the game, will be hoping that what Ramsey says is true.
