While the Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern seem to be far more concerned with rubbing the Spurs supporting punters’ nose in defeat, interesting reports have emerged.
Securing the likes of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez down to long-term deals appears to be the priority for the Gunners, the Daily Mail suggests the future is not so clear for others.
They claim that England international trio Jack Wilshere, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Kieran Gibbs are playing for their futures in North London.
Wilshere joined Bournemouth on a season-long loan in order to prove his fitness, while ‘the Ox’ is in the club’s first-team.
Still, his failure to capitalise on the potential he showed as a teenager has often frustrated the Gunners propping up the bar.
Gibbs, meanwhile, has seemingly lost his place to Nacho Monreal and has dropped out of the international setup.
The club are reportedly yet to start talks about extending their deals as they fight to prove their worth at the Emirates Stadium.
Which of these three would you prefer to keep Arsenal fans? Let us know below…
