According to French website le10sport.com Tottenham, Arsenal and Valencia are all reportedly scouting Le Havre midfielder Jeremy Balmy. The 17-year-old has been on the radar of some of Europe’s biggest clubs since the age of 10.
He currently plays in Le Havre’s reserve side, as well as the French u19s, but supposedly the club try to keep their best young players from the prying eyes of the bigger clubs.
Balmy is reportedly a talented play-maker that can operate either as a wide attacking player or in the hole behind a main striker.
If any of these teams make a move for the youngster they will have to tread carefully as Le Havre threatened to report Manchester United to FIFA over the signing of Paul Pogba.
The French club claimed he had agreed to join them, but United offered the 16-year-old inducements in order to choose Manchester instead.
This was around the same time as Chelsea were banned from signing players in two transfer windows over the Gael Kakuta deal.
FIFA found them guilty of inducing the player to break his contract with his then club Lens, the transfer ban was later suspended and then overturned.
