Video: Arsenal Fan TV showcase inspiring story before first game

The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern have been in good spirits of late, as the club reportedly close in on the signing of Alexandre Lacazette.

For many of the Gunners propping up our bar, the Frenchman’s arrival is an inspired one, with Arsene Wenger soon able to deploy a striker of some serious pedigree.

Still, there are more important things to discuss. Indeed, Arsenal Fan TV’s latest video tells an inspiring story, one far more emotionally charged than merely a new signing.

With AFTV FC playing their first game since holding some local trials, well-known host Robbie introduces a man who will play in the first fixture, having missed the initial trials. However, this is no ordinary story.

Paul – the man in question – was unable to attend them, as he was caught up in the tragic events at the Grenfell Tower on the 14th June 2017.

Amid such a heartbreaking event, Paul’s story truly is an inspiring one.
